Wheeling Jesuit Downs Shepherd Men

Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Pat Moseh scored a game-high 22 points to lead Wheeling Jesuit (6-1, 3-1 MEC) to an 85-72 win over Shepherd University (3-3, 2-2 MEC) in MEC men's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday.

Senior guard Naim Muhammad (Waldorf, Md./North Point) scored 21 points and junior guard Steffen Davis (Accoceek, Md./Maret School) added 19 to pace the Rams.

Junior guard Skyler Roman Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) contributed 15 points.

Haywood Highsmith added 15 points and 19 rebounds for the Cardinals.

Shepherd hit on 16-of-50 field goals (32 percent) with a 9-of-23 (39.1 percent) effort from three-point range.
The Rams had a 31-of-37 effort (83.8 percent) from the foul line.

Wheeling Jesuit connected on 27-of-59 field goals (45.8 percent) with an 8-of-25 effort (32 percent) from beyond the arc. The Cardinals were 23-of-30 from the foul line (76.7 percent).

The Cardinals had a 39-33 advantage on the boards. The Rams forced 11 turnovers and committed 14.

The Rams return to action on Dec. 12 when they travel to Chestnut Hill for a 7 p.m. game
