WINCHESTER, Va. – Shepherd University (2-2) dropped a 5-3 decision to Shenandoah University (1-0) in men's tennis action at Shenandoah on Saturday night.
Shepherd got singles wins from junior
Grant Davis (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Martinsburg) at number one and freshman
Shane Dempsey (Charleston, W.Va./Nitro) at number two. Dempsey also teamed with freshman
Clayton Smith (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) for a victory at number three doubles
The Rams return to action on March 5 when they travel to University of Charleston for an 11 a.m. match.
