Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Shepherd (7-20, 6-15 MEC) broke open a close game at the half by outscoring West Virginia Wesleyan (6-19, 4-17 MEC) by 14 in the third quarter on its way to an 89-83 win over the Bobcats at the Rockefeller Center on Thursday night.

Kristen Nunn (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) hit 9-of-12 shots from the field, including 2-of-3 from long distance and 3-of-3 from the free throw line, to finish with a game-high 23 points. Sophomore guard
Morgan Arden (Hanover, Pa./Spring Grove) scored 22, and junior forward
Liz Myers (York, Pa./Eastern York) added 17.
Junior guard
Cara Mason (Monrovia, Md./Urbana) had a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
West Virginia Wesleyan received double-doubles from Stacy Remer (17 points, 10 rebounds) and Mari Stewart (14 points, 13 rebounds). Allie Brown had 15 points and dished out eight assists, and Adrian Cunningham tossed in 14 points for the Bobcats.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Fairmont State at 2 p.m.
