HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Shepherd University (4-6) dropped a 7-2 decision to Baker University in men's tennis action at Hilton Head on Thursday.

Freshman Shane Dempsey (Charleston, W.Va./Nitro) recorded a 6-3, 6-0 win at number three singles and sophomore Austin Thomas (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) posted a 3-6, 6-4, 10-1 triumph at number five singles for the Rams.
