Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Jesse Tufnell had five goals and Elizabeth Hales added three to lead Wheeling Jesuit (9-5, 4-0 MEC) to an 11-10 win over Shepherd University (4-8, 2-1 MEC) in Mountain East Conference women's lacrosse action at Ram Stadium on Sunday.
Senior midfielder/attacker

Haley Price (Eldersburg, Md./Liberty) each led the Rams with two goals apiece.

Sarah Wendt (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) each had a goal and an assist.
Junior attacker
Brooke Hunley (Monrovia, Md./Linganore) and junior midfielder
Alex Green (Boonsboro/Boonsboro) each tallied a goal, while senior midfielder/attacker
Erin Phelan (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) led the Rams with two assists. Senior defender
Taylor Hicks (Baltimore, Md./Mercy) added an assist.
Senior goalkeeper
Savannah Shores (Trappe, Md./Easton) recorded five saves for the Rams. Marie Austin had seven saves for the Cardinals
Wheeling Jesuit had a 7-4 lead at halftime.
Shepherd scored four the game's last five goals to rally to within a goal at 11-10 as Morris scored on a feed from Hicks with 59 seconds remaining. Shepherd had two possessions the final minute but was unable to get a shot off.
Shepherd had a 15-8 advantage in draw controls while ground balls were even at 22-22. The Rams had a 25-21 edge in shots.
The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host Millersville for a 4 p.m. contest.
