Shepherd took as 1-0 lead in the third inning in game one as senior shortstop
Tre Porter (Stephens City, Va./Sherando/Potomac State) walked and later scored on a single by sophomore designated hitter

Notre Dame scored three runs in the fifth on three hits and four errors to take a 3-2 advantage. Keifer Quick had an RBI-double and Ross Barker drove in another run to key the rally.
Shepherd scored a pair of runs in the sixth to gain the win. Carney had an RBI-double and Porter hit a sacrifice fly to plate junior second baseman
Brandon Kirk (Hamilton, N.J./Hamilton West/Mercer CC), who had singled, with the game-winning run.
Carney, Heleine, Hamel, and Kirk each had a pair of hits for the Rams.
TJ Lett went 3-for-3 to lead Notre Dame.

Notre Dame outslugged the Rams for a 10-7 win in the nightcap.
Quick went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer to pace the Falcon attack.
