Box Score ATHENS, W.Va. – Sam Ashton and Max Simpson each had a goal and an assist to lead Concord  (2-2, 1-1 MEC) to a 4-0 win over Shepherd University (0-4, 0-3 MEC) in MEC men's soccer action at Anderson Field on Sunday.

Josh Garwood and Josh Ashton each added goals for the Mountain Lions.

Senior goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport) recorded six saves for the Rams, while James Sinclair had three saves for the Mountain Lions.

Concord had a 20-4 shots advantage and an 8-2 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Sept. 19 when they travel to Washington Adventist University for a 5 p.m. contest.
