Box Score ATHENS, W.Va. – Shepherd University (2-1-1, 1-1-1 MEC) battled to a scoreless tie with Concord (2-1-1, 2-0-1 MEC) in MEC women's soccer action at Anderson Field on Sunday afternoon.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kelsey Rhoderick (Frederick, Md./Governor Thomas Johnson) posted seven saves in a shutout effort for the Rams. Emily Simpkins had four saves for the Mountain Lions.

Concord had a 20-5 advantage in shots and a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Thursday when they host Fairmont State for a noon contest.
