Box Score GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Shepherd University (6-8, 1-0 MEC) handed Glenville State (0-13, 0-1 MEC) a 3-0 (25-12, 25-18, 25-14) setback in MEC volleyball action at Glenville State on Friday night.
Junior middle hitter
Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) had a match-high nine kills with a .900 attack percentage to lead the Rams. Jackson also contributed six blocks.
Freshman outside hitter
Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) added seven kills, while classmate
Jaila Bell (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) had six. Freshman setter
Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) topped the Rams with 15 assists and junior libero
Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, W.Va./Loudoun County) posted a team-high 22 digs.
Angelica Nichols had five kills and Bailey Brawner added 11 digs to lead Glenville State.
The Rams continue on the road on Saturday when they travel to Davis & Elkins for a 1 p.m. match.
