Box Score ELKINS, W.Va. –Shepherd University (6-9) was defeated by Davis and Elkins College (5-10) in four sets (17-25, 25-23, 21-25,23-25) of women's volleyball action on Saturday.

Freshman outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) led the way for the Rams with a match-high 14 kills. Junior libero Kelsey Anderson (Leesburg, W.Va./Loudoun County) contributed with a match-high 17 digs.

Sophomore setter Becca Kern (Martinsburg, W.Va./Musselman) and freshman setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) each tallied a team-high 18 assists for the Rams.

Elizabeth Estes had 13 kills and Zoe Craig contributed 42 assists for the Senators.

The Rams return to action on Friday when they host Notre Dame College at 7:00 p.m.
