Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Notre Dame College (1-2, 1-0 MEC) recorded a 2-0 win over Shepherd University (0-2, 0-1 MEC) in MEC men's soccer action at Shepherd on Tuesday afternoon.

Notre Dame took a 1-0 lead into the break as Leonardo Paiva scored on a pass from Thomaz Freitas at the 26:01 mark.

The Falcons added a second half goal as Arthur Favero scored on a feed from Frietas at the 55:02 mark.

Senior goalkeeper Alex Aleshire (Hagerstown, Md./Williamsport)  recorded seven saves for the Rams, while Daniele DeAngelis had two saves for the Falcons

Notre Dame had a 26-6 shots advantage and an 11-0 edge in corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit for a 5:30 p.m. match.
