Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Junior guard Steffen Davis (Accokeek, Md./Maret School) scored a game-high 27 points and junior forward AJ Carr (Fairfax, Va./St. James School) added 23 points and eight boards to lead Shepherd University (8-6, 5-3 MEC) to a 102-74 win over Charleston (9-5, 3-5 MEC) in MEC men's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Tuesday night.

Davis hit on 7-of-14 field goals with a 5-of-11 effort from three-point range. He was 8-of-9 from the foul line.
Carr had an 8-of-14 effort from the floor with a 5-of-9 performance from beyond the arc. He was 2-of-2 from the foul line.

Junior guard Skyler Roman (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) tossed in 13 points, while senior guard Niam Muhammad (Waldorf, Md./North Point) added 12 and tied Carr with a game-high five assists.

LeJavius Johnson and Elliott Cole each had 17 points for the Golden Eagles. Justin Coleman added 13 points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Urbana for a 4 p.m. game.
