Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Octavia Loll scored a game-high 26 points and Anna Hayton added 16 points and eight rebounds to lead University of Charleston (5-9, 3-4 MEC) to a 69-53 win over Shepherd University (5-11, 2-6 MEC) in MEC women's basketball action at the Butcher Center on Tuesday.

Loll hit on 9-of-10 field goals with a 5-of-5 effort from three-point range. She was 3-of-5 from the foul line.

Shepherd was led by sophomore guard Kari Lankford (York, Pa./West  York Area) and senior forward Liz Myers (York, Pa./Eastern York) who each tossed in 12 points. Lankford also added team highs of five rebounds, four assists and three steals.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Urbana for a 2 p.m. game.
