Box Score GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Odyssey Trussell scored 25 points and Paris McLeod added 20 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead Glenville State (15-3, 9-3 MEC) to a 122-70 win over Shepherd (8-12, 5-7 MEC) in MEC women's basketball action at Glenville State on Saturday.

Junior guard Morgan Arden (Hanover, Pa./Spring Grove) led the Rams with 14 points. She was 5-9 from the floor with a 2-of-3 effort from three-point range. Arden was 2-of-4 from the foul line, She added a team-high five assists.

Junior guard Kayla Tibbs (Leesburg, Va./Heritage) tossed in 13 points, while junior guard Tiffany McKinney (Edgewater, Md./South River/Anne Arundel CC) added 10.

Courtney Davis had 13 points, while Erika Toney and Brittany Jackson each added 12 for the Pioneers.

Glenville State opened the game on a 21-2 run and Shepherd was unable to recover. The Pioneers had a 61-36 lead at the break

Shepherd shot 41.5 percent (27-65) from the floor with a 45.5 percent effort (5-11) from three-point range for the game. The Rams shot 78.6 percent (11-14) from the charity stripe.

Glenville State hit on 42.9 percent (45-105) from the floor with a 42.9 percent (24-56) performance from beyond the arc. The Pioneers connected on 66.7 percent (8-12) of their free throws.

Glenville State had a 60-40 advantage in rebounding. Shepherd forced eight turnovers and committed 26.

The Rams return to action on Thursday when they host UVa-Wise for a 5:30 p.m. game.
