FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- Shepherd University (4-3-5, 4-2-5 MEC) and Fairmont State (4-4-5, 3-4-5 MEC) battled to a scoreless tie in MEC women's soccer action at Fairmont State on Thursday afternoon.

Junior netminder Christi LaBella (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) recorded three saves for the Rams. She posted her fourth shutout of the season.  Shawna Graham had seven saves for the Fighting Falcons.

Shepherd had a 15-8 advantage in shots and a 3-1 edge in corner kicks.The Rams return to action on Sunday when they host Urbana at 3:30 p.m. for the BCA/Pink Game.
