BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Senior forward Samantha Leonard (Conowingo, Md./Perryville/Wingate) of the Shepherd University women's soccer team has been selected as the MEC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office today.

Leonard scored a pair of goals in Shepherd's 2-1 win over Concord on Wednesday. She added an assist in a 2-2 tie against Notre Dame on Saturday.
