SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (17-5, 6-3 MEC) recorded a 3-0 (25-11, 25-19, 25-11) win over UVa-Wise (5-18, 1-8 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. The Rams have won eight of their last nine matches.

Senior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) led the Rams with 11 kills, while sophomore outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) added nine kills and 10 digs.

Sophomore setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) recorded 31 assists and 15 digs, and sophomore libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) had 13 digs.

Ciara Kain had 10 kills and six digs, while Morgan Milligan posted 20 assists and 15 digs for the Cavaliers.

The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Wheeling Jesuit for a 7 p.m. match.
