WHEELING, W.Va. – Shepherd University dropped a 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-21) decision to 23rd-ranked Wheeling Jesuit in MEC volleyball action at Wheeling Jesuit on Friday night.

Sophomore outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) led the Rams (17-6, 6-4 MEC) with 14 kills and 10 digs. Senior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg)  added 10 kills, while senior middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) contributed six.

Sophomore setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) recorded 34 assists and sophomore libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) had 16 digs.

Haley Kramer had 19 kills, while Cassie Meyer added 12 kills and 11 digs for the Cardinals (21-4, 11-0 MEC).

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to West Liberty for a 4 p.m. match.
