Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (12-4, 1-2 MEC) gained a 3-2 (14-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-25, 15-11) win over Fairmont State (9-6, 1-2 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Tuesday night.
Senior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) and sophomore outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) each had 18 kills for the Rams. Hill also added 21 digs and four aces.
Sophomore setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) recorded 42 assists and 21 digs, while sophomore libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted a match-high 26 digs.
Mackenzie Harrison had 21 kills and 16 digs for the Falcons. Megan Clerico added 21 digs, while Julia Shemaitis contributed 13 kills and 19 digs.
The Rams return to action on Friday when they travel to Notre Dame College for a 7 p.m. match.
