Box Score BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Shepherd (4-3-4, 4-2-4 MEC) dropped a 1-0 decision to 10th-ranked West Virginia Wesleyan (11-0-1, 10-0-0 MEC) in MEC women's soccer action at West Virginia Wesleyan on Friday night.
Carolyn Saulle scored the game's only goal at the 39:29 mark on passes from Audrey Barber and Marissa Zetty.
Junior netminder Christi LaBella (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) recorded four saves for the Rams.  Chelsea Hubner (2) and Ashlee Schumacher (1) combined for three saves for the Bobcats.
West Virginia Wesleyan had a 14-4 advantage in shots and a 1-0 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Fairmont State for a noon contest.
