Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Daniel Moreira scored on a feed from Francisco Vieria in the 90th minute to lift Washington Adventist (6-5-0) to a 2-1 win over Shepherd University (0-12-1) in men's soccer action at Shepherd on Monday.
After a scorless first half, the Shock took a 1-0 lead when Klem Garcia scored on a pass from Douglas Guevara at the 51:44 mark.
Shepherd tied the game when senior midfielder Ben Capriolo (Charles Town, WV/Washington) scored off a free kick by junior midfielder Justin Daniels (Huntingtown, Md./Huntingtown) at the 83:11 mark.
Freshman goalkeeper Jacob Dougal (Chambersburg, Pa./Chambersburg) recorded three saves for the Rams, while Reynero Pacheco posted three saves in goal for the Shock.
Shots were even at 10 apiece and Shepherd held a 6-2 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Sunday when they host Urbana at 3:30 p.m. for the BCA/Pink Game.
