BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Shepherd University (22-6, 11-4 MEC) recorded a 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 27-25) win over West Virginia Wesleyan (12-18, 6-9 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at West Virginia Wesleyan on Friday night.

Sophomore outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend)  led the Rams with 14 kills and a .375 attack percentage to pace the Rams. Sophomore outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond)  added 11 kills, while senior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg)  added 10.

Sophomore setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) recorded 37 assists and sophomore libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) contributed 18 digs.

Emily Doyle had eight kills and six digs for the Bobcats. Katlyn Buckland added 24 assists and seven digs.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Glenville State for a 1 p.m. match.
