SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (20-6, 9-4 MEC) recorded a 3-0 (25-17, 26-24, 25-21) win over Notre Dame (13-18, 4-10 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday. The victory allowed the Rams to reach the 20-win mark on the season.

Sophomore outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) had 13 kills with a .357 attack percentage to pace the Rams. She added seven blocks (three solo) and four digs. Senior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg)  added 12 kills.

Sophomore outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond)  had six kills and 18 digs, while sophomore setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) recorded 39 assists, three aces, and nine digs.  Sophomore libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) contributed 15 digs.

Melissa Maczuzak had nine kills and 10 digs to lead the Falcons. Mary Kate McHugh added eight kills and six digs.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Fairmont State for a 7 p.m. match.
