HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Shepherd University won a pair of matches in tennis action at Hilton Head on Sunday. The women's team recorded a 6-3 victory over Clarion, while the men's team (4-3) posted an 8-1 triumph over Stevenson (0-5).

Freshman Zoe Nisewander (Bluefield, W.Va./Bluefield), sophomore Zoie O'Neal Hagerstown, Md./Clear Spring), and sophomore Anna Bock (Hedgesville, W.Va./Hedgesville) gained both singles and doubles wins for the Shepherd women.

Freshman Kaleb Lochner (Shepherdstown, W.Va./Jefferson) and junior Austin Thomas (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) each had singles victories and teamed for an 8-0 win at number two doubles to pace the men's team.

The two teams return to action on Monday when they face Millikin at noon.
