SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd (9-11) recorded an 8-1 victory over Shippensburg (4-8) in women's tennis action at Shepherd on Wednesday. The Rams recorded their fifth consecutive win.

Sophomore Alisha Adkins (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown) posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at number one singles and teamed with sophomore Zoie O'Neal Hagerstown, Md./Clear Spring) for an 8-3 win at number two doubles. Junior Molly Lovern with (Bluefield, W.Va./Bluefield) had a 6-3, 6-4 win at number two singles and teamed freshman Zoe Nicewander (Bluefield, W.Va./Bluefield) for an 8-2 win at number one doubles.
