ATHENS, W.Va. – Shepherd (1-2, 1-2 MEC) recorded an 8-1 win over Concord (0-1, 0-1 MEC) in MEC women's tennis action at Concord on Sunday.

Sophomore Zoe Nicewander (Bluefield, W.Va./Bluefield) and juniors Olivia Scott (Stephens City, Va./Sherando) and Nicolette Bruley (Centreville, Va./Westfield) each posted 6-0, 6-0 singles wins for the Rams.

The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Hood College for a 4 p.m. match.
