KUTZTOWN, Pa. – Fourth-ranked Kutztown University (2-0) handed Shepherd (0-1) a 3-0 setback in women's soccer action at Kutztown on Saturday.   Kutztown took a 1-0 lead into the break as Chelsea Fadio scored off a corner kick from Kate Martin at the 25:43 mark.   The Golden Bears added a pair of second half tallies as Randi Smith scored on a feed from Emily Zwiercan at the 51:45 mark and Martin scored on a pass from Alyssa Ray at the 63:05 mark.   Junior netminder Christi LaBella (Ijamsville, Md./Oakdale) posted one save for the Rams, while McKenna Zerba had one save for the Golden Bears. Kutztown had an 11-3 advantage in shots and an 8-1 edge in corner kicks. The Rams return to action on Tuesday when they host West Liberty at 2:30 p.m. in the conference opener.
