Box Score EASTON, Mass. – Shepherd University (1-0) handed host Stonehill College (0-1) a 3-1 setback in volleyball action at the Skyhawk Invitational on Saturday evening. The Rams recorded a 25-21, 18-25, 25-23, 26-24 win.

Sophomore outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) had a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs to pace the Rams. Senior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) added nine kills.\


Sophomore libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) contributed a match-high 19 digs. Sophomore middle hitter Seone Goode (Fredericksburg, Va./Riverbend) posted a match-high five blocks, while sophomore setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 32 assists and 15 digs.

Sophomore outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) had 13 digs, while freshman libero Milleysha Molina-Otero (Fairfax, Va./Chantilly) had 11.

Jessica Givens had 42 assists and 12 digs for the Skyhawks. Allyson Hughes had 13 kills, while Claire Manuszak recored 16 digs.

The Rams return to action on Sunday when they face Dominican at 12:30 p.m. and Bloomfield at 3 p.m. in final day action of the Skyhawk Invitational.
