Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (9-3, 0-1 MEC) dropped a 3-0 (25-14, 25-21, 25-15) decision to Wheeling Jesuit (9-4, 1-0 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Friday night.
Senior middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford), senior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) and sophomore outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond) each had seven kills for the Rams. Hill also added seven digs.
Sophomore setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 25 assists and seven digs, while sophomore libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted seven digs.
Haley Kramer had 15 kills to lead the Cardinals. Cassie Meyer added 10 kills and 15 digs, while Audrey Francis contributed 16 digs.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host West Liberty for a 4 p.m. match.
