Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Shepherd University (9-3, 0-2 MEC) dropped a 3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 25-23, 29-27) decision to West Liberty (9-7, 1-1 MEC) in MEC volleyball action at the Butcher Center on Saturday.

Sophomore outside hitter Cambriea Hill (Columbia, Md./Hammond)  had 15 kills and 23 digs to lead the Rams. Senior outside hitter Amanda Snowden (Hagerstown, Md./Smithsburg) added 12 kills, while senior middle hitter Christine Jackson (Stafford, Va./North Stafford) had 10.

Sophomore setter Jessica Karcz (Westminster, Md./Westminster) contributed 36 assists and 15 digs, while sophomore libero Imani Major (Gainesville, Va./Millbrook) posted 25 digs.

Raimey Benson had 14 kills and 14 digs to lead the Hilltoppers. Morgan Farley added 13 kills and nine digs.

The Rams return to action on Thursday when they host Bowie State for a 7 p.m. match.
