ORANGEBURG, N.Y. – Five different players scored goals to lead Domincian College to (5-9-0) to a 5-0 win over Shepherd University (1-13-0) in men's soccer action at Domincan on Saturday.
Dominican took a 1-0 lead into the break behind a goal by Anthony Contero at the 2:18 mark.
The Chargers added second half goals from Wilbur Mazariego, Ewan Gray, Daniel Mistretta, and Nicholas DiGuglielmo.
Freshman goalkeeper Michael Lemay (Martinsburg, W.Va./Martinsburg) recorded seven saves for the Rams. Tyler Doll posted three saves for the Chargers.
Dominican had a 24-3 advantage in shots and a 2-1 edge in corner kicks.
The Rams return to action on Thursday when they travel to Notre Dame for a noon contest.
