BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. -- Sophomore defender Katherine Eddy (Charleston, W.Va./George Washington) of the Shepherd University women's soccer team has been named to the 2018 All-MEC Women's Soccer Team as announced by the league office today.
Eddy, a second team selection, anchored a Shepherd defense that recorded six shutouts and allowed just one goal on three other occasions. Eddy had four goals and two assists for 10 points on the year for the Rams. She tallied a pair of game-winning goals.
The All-MEC teams are selected by a vote of the league's coaches.
