HILTON HEAD, S.C. -- The Shepherd University men's tennis team opened its Hilton Head trip with a 7-2 win over Arcadia on Monday afternoon.

The Rams got singles wins from sophomore Carter Davis (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Martinsburg), freshman Evan Dokken (Winchester, Va./James Wood),senior Lewis Charette (Atlanta, Ga./Pike County), junior Clayton Smith (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown), and senior Austin Thomas (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington).

Davis and Dokken teamed for an 8-0 win at number one doubles and Thomas and Charette teamed for a 8-1 triumph at number three doubles.
