HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Shepherd University (5-4) gained an 8-1 victory over Thomas College (0-2) in men's tennis action at Hilton Head on Wednesday.
Sophomore Carter Davis (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Martinsburg) posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at number one singles and teamed with freshman Evan Dokken (Winchester, Va./James Wood) for an 8-0 win at number one doubles to lead the Rams. Junior Clayton Smith (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) added a 6-2, 6-0 win at number four singles.
