Box Score SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Hannah Jaskuta scored four goals to lead Bloomsburg (7-3) to a 12-9 win over Shepherd (4-3) in women's lacrosse action at Ram Stadium on Thursday.
Sophomore attacker/midfielder Lillian Funke (Hagerstown, Md./Boonsboro) and sophomore attacker Jordan Sauro (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll/Shippensburg) each netted a pair of goals to lead the Rams. Freshman attacker Regan Brown (Reisterstown, Md./Manchester Valley) added a goal and two assists, while senior midfielder Sarah Wendt (Ellicott City, Md./Howard) added a goal and an assist.
Shepherd also got single goals from sophomore midfielder Elishia Davis (Charleston, W.Va./George Washington), sophomore attacker Emily Brown (Virginia Beach, Va./First Colonial), and freshman attacker Sidney Kelly (Hagerstown, Md./South Hagerstown).
Abby Bergman and Tracy Rusen each added a pair of goals for the Huskies.
Bloomsburg had a 6-5 lead at halftime.
Bloomsburg had a 36-23 edge in shots, a 40-33 edge in ground balls and a 14-9 advantage in draw controls. Shepherd was 20-of-32 in clears, while Bloomsburg was 20-of-28.
Senior goalkeeper Casey Hickman (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) had 15 saves for the Rams, while Angela DiPasquale recorded eight saves for the Huskies.
The Rams return to action on Monday when they host Millersville for a 4 p.m. match.
