MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Shepherd University split tennis action with Millersville University at Millersville on Sunday. The Shepherd men gained a 7-2 victory, while the Millersville women earned an 8-1 win.

Sophomore Carter Davis (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Martinsburg), senior Austin Thomas (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington), senior Lewis Charette (Atlanta Ga./Pike County), and junior Clayton Smith (Hagerstown, Md./North Hagerstown) each recorded wins in both singles and doubles action.

Junior Anna Bock (Hedgesville, W.Va./Hedgesville) posted a 6-2, 6-3 win at number three singles for the women.

The Shepherd men return to action on Wednesday when they host West Virginia Wesleyan for a 4 p.m. match. The women return to action on Sunday when they host Salem University for an 11 a.m. match.
