Shepherd Tennis Drops Pair to Davis and Elkins

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. -- Shepherd University dropped a pair of matches to Davis & Elkins in tennis action at Shepherd on Wednesday. The men dropped a 7-0 decision, while the women had a 5-2 setback.

Freshman Ally Frushour (Hagerstown, Md. /South Hagerstown) and freshman Morgan Burner (Winchester, Va./James Wood)  posted singles wins for the women. Frushour and freshman Isabella Mascari (Morgantown, W.Va./Morgantown) teamed for a 6-3 win at number two doubles.

The Shepherd men's and women's teams return to action on Friday when they host UDC at 2 p.m.
