SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Brian Flatter scored at the 75:29 mark to lift Lock Haven (8-8-0, 5-5-0 PSAC East) to a 4-3 win over Shepherd (2-13-1, 0-9-1 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Shepherd on Wednesday afternoon.
Ivo Klaric scored on a pass from Andrea DiSomma at the 4:53 mark and later at the 28:21 mark to give the Bald Eagles a 2-0 lead.
Shepherd cut the lead to 2-1 when junior forward Carlos Castillo (Columbia/Blue Ridge CC) scored on a header off a corner kick by sophomore midfielder Shamar Robinson (Mount Vernon, NY/Mount Vernon) at the 37:51 mark.
Junior midfielder Adam Rice (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) found the back of the net on a feed from sophomore modfielder Ryan Bowman (Sharpsburg, Md./Williamsport) at the 42:17 mark as the game was tied at 2-2 at the break.
Kemail Green scored on a pass from Beckham Sibiski at the 47:43 mark for Lock Haven to open the second half scoring.
Shepherd tied the game minutes later on an unassisted goal by junior defender Liam Risell (New Windsor, Md./Francis Scott Key).
Sophomore goalkeeper Jose Machado Orrellana (Falls Church, Va./J.E.B. Stuart) recorded nine saves for the Rams. Camden Cook posted four saves for the Bald Eagles.
Lock Haven had a 17-15 edge in shots, while corner kicks were even at seven apiece.
The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to Millersville for a 3 p.m. contest.
