SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. – Graduate student running back Deonte Glover (Inwood, W.Va./Musselman/WVU) and junior defensive lineman Ricky Robinson (Matthias, W.Va./East Hardy) of the Shepherd University football team have been named to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District Football Team, while senior outside hitter Peyton Lindblad (Spotsylvania, Va./Riverbend) of the Shepherd volleyball team has been selected to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District Volleyball Team. The teams were selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Glover boasts a 3.70 grade point average with a 3.75 GPA in his graduate classes. He is pursuing a master's degree in business administration. Robinson has a 3.87 GPA as a business administration major.
Lindblad, who gained third team Academic All-American honors in 2018, earned Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive year. She boasts a 3.83 grade point average as a nursing major.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second- and third team (if applicable) Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
