WHEELING, W.Va. – Senior guard Kayla Tibbs (Leesburg, Va./Heritage/Glenville State) of the Shepherd University women's basketball team was named to the 2019 MEC Women's Basketball All- Tournament Team on Sunday.

Tibbs poured in a Shepherd single-game record 43 points in Shepherd's one-point loss to West Virginia State in tournament first round action last Wednesday. She connected on 17-of-31 field goals with a 5-of-10 effort from three-point range. Tibbs was 4-of-6 from the foul line.
