HILTON HEAD, S.C. --  The Shepherd University tennis teams dropped a pair of matches to Quincy at Hilton Head on Friday. The Shepherd men (0-5) came up short on a 6-1 score, while the women (2-4) dropped a 7-0 decision.

Junior Carter Davis (Harpers Ferry, W.Va./Martinsburg)  posted a 6-3, 6-0 win at number one singles and teamed with sophomore Evan Dokken (Winchester, Va./James Wood) for a 6-3 win at number one doubles.

The Shepherd men and women return to action on March 23 when they travel to West Virginia Wesleyan for a 2 p.m. match.
