JACKSON SPRINGS, N.C. – The Shepherd University men's golf team fired a two-round total of 629 to place 13th in a 14-team field at the Brown Golf Intercollegiate at Foxfire Resort and Golf in Jackson Springs, N.C. Wayne State (MI) fired a 588 to take the team title. Shkelqim Kukaj of St. Thomas Aquinas took medalist honors with a two-round total of 140.
Shepherd junior
Owen Elliott (Hedgesville, W.Va./Hedgesville/Marshall) fired a 151 to tie for seventh pace to lead the Rams.

Mason Kidwell (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) (154, T-24th), junior
Mike Graessle (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) (166, T-62nd), freshman
Gavin Bonievich (Charles Town, W.Va./Washington) and senior
Drew Call (Charleston, W.Va./George Washington) (each fired a 170, T-66th).
The Rams return to action on March 31 when they compete at the Oglebay Intercollegiate.
