WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Junior outfielder Brenton Doyle (Warrenton, Va./Kettle Run) of the Shepherd University baseball team has been named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Region Player of the Week.
 
Doyle led the Rams to a 3-1 week as he hit .563 (9-16) with eight runs batted in and nine runs scored. He had three home runs, four doubles and a triple for the week. He hit for the cycle in Saturday's win over Urbana. Doyle had a .632 on base percentage and a 1.500 slugging percentage
