INDIANAPOLIS – The Shepherd University softball team is ranked third in the latest NCAA II Atlantic Region ranking for May 1. Shepherd joins West Virginia State (1st), West Liberty (4th), Concord (6th), and Charleston (10th) as Mountain East Conference schools represented in the poll.

The Rams return to action on Friday when they face Charleston at noon in first round action of the MEC Tournament in Salem, Virginia.
