Sophomore shortstop Ashley Burger (Hedgesville, W.Va./Spring Mills) led off the 11th with a single and was replaced by junior pinch-runner Allison Baker (Fredericksburg, Va./Stafford). Baker moved to third on a sacrifice bunt by senior first baseman Connor Gilligan (Medford, N.J. Shawnee). Baker scored on a single to right center by Sturgill. Senior catcher Rachel Taylor (Marshall, Va./Fauquier) followed with a double to plate Sturgill. Sophomore second baseman Leann Brown (Hume, Va./Fauquier) belted a triple to left to score Taylor to cap the rally.
