GREENSBURG, Pa. -- Junior Owen Elliott (Hedgesville, W.Va./Hedgesville/Marshall) of the Shepherd University men's golf team fired a one-under-par 71 to tie for second place after first-day action of the 2019 NCAA Division II Men's Golf Atlantic/East Tournament at the Totteridge Golf Club. Wilmington (Del.) shot a 296 to take the team lead.

Elliott, who qualified for the event as an individual, will return to action on Friday in second day action of the three-day event.
