LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior forward Sydney Clayton (Frederick, Md./St. John's) of the Shepherd University women's basketball team has been named  PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week as announced by the league office today. Clayton gained weekly conference honors for the second time this season.

Clayton had 14 defensive rebounds and six blocked shots in a 2-0 week for the Rams to help Shepherd improve to 14-5 on the season.
