LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Junior guard Marley McLaughlin (Haymarket, Va./Battlefield) and sophomore guard Hannah Myers (York, Pa./Eastern York) of the Shepherd University women's basketball team have earned PSAC weekly honors as announced by the league office today. McLaughlin earned PSAC East Athlete of the Week honors, while Myers gained PSAC East Defensive Athlete of the Week honors.
McLaughlin earned PSAC weekly honors for the second time this season. She led Shepherd to a 2-0 as she averaged 23 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 4.0 steals. She scored a game-high 28 points in Shepherd's win over Shippensburg on Wednesday and added a game-high 18 points in a win over Lock Haven on Saturday.
Myers led the Rams defensively in a 2-0 week. She averaged 5.0 steals and added five defensive boards for the week. Myers also averaged 6.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists.
