Millersville Edges Shepherd Men’s Soccer

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. –  Anthony Calamia scored on a pass from Spencer Shortt at the 61:27 mark to lift Millersville (6-3-0, 2-2-0 PSAC East) to a 1-0 win over Shepherd (1-8-0, 0-4-0 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Millersville on Saturday.

Sophomore netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) registered 13 saves for the Rams. Bobby Bosch recorded three saves for the Marauders. 

Millersville had a 29-6 advantage in shots with a 15-3 advantage in shots on goal. Millersville had a 9-1 edge in corner kicks. 

The Rams return to action on Wednesday when they host Lock Haven for a 1 p.m. contest.
