Strong Second Half Lifts Millersville Past Shepherd Men’s Soccer

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. –  Millersville (10-5-0, 6-4-0 PSAC East) scored four second-half goals en route to a 4-0 win over Shepherd (2-15-0, 1-10-0 PSAC East) in PSAC East men's soccer action at Shepherd on Saturday. 

Mike Kreider, Aaron Maynard, Ronnie Minges, and Frank Astarita each scored goals over a six-minute span to lift the Marauders to the win. 

Sophomore netminder Billy Wood (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) recorded three saves for the Rams. Bobby Bosch posted a save for the Marauders. 

Millersville had a 16-3 advantage in shots with a 7-1 edge in shots on goal. The Marauders had a 9-2 advantage in corner kicks. 

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they travel to East Stroudsburg for a noon contest.
